This week Gillian sits down for an intimate one on one with David Moyle, Joy presenter of Bent Notes, musician, technical whiz and Silverfox sound engineer. They discuss David’s love of the big band sound, his early mastery of small percussion instruments, as well as the piano, organ and vibraphone. David shares with us how he came out late in life and has continued to have loving relationships with his ex-wife, three children, his church community and many of us at Joy. He plays tracks from some of his favourite artists including Glen Miller, Ella Fitzgerald, the Dutch College Swing Band and Wolfgang Lackerschmid on the vibraphone; a selection as laid back and inspiring as the man himself.
