RADIOTHON IS HERE! We’re so excited to be doing a radiothon this year, and before you say that it’d be impossible to do anything better than last years radiothon show, listen to the amazing show we have planned for you. We’re teaming up with some of the other Tuesday night shows here on Joy to bring you some amazing amazing content!

We’re in the studio with Urban Dreaming and World Wide Wave to talk to everyone about all of the community support and resources that Joy offers! It’s such a privilege to be able to reach out to so many beautiful listeners and this night, every person with a new Joy membership will be given superhero names by us! Because you are the real heroes that let us keep making and giving this amazing content and community support. We love you all!

First of all, we have an interview with Superstar Elaine Crombie, who here to talk to us about what it means to tell stories and convey meaning in the performing arts, as well as the importance for telling personal stories in Indigenous spaces. Elaine is an absolute champion, and it’s an amazing privilege to have her on our show <3

We’re then talking about some of the amazing resources that Joy makes availiable to everyone, and have a live read of some beautiful queer poetry LIVE in the studio. It’ll give you shivers.
Finally, we chat to Erin from Bisexual Caberet show ‘Baby Bi Bi Bi’ about hearing queer voices, the importance of queer spaces like Joy and personal experiences leading to performing arts.
