She Loves By #s by Edge Of The Wedge. First track on their 1984 12” EP, Chime. They were: Bass, Vocals – Pat Mc Coy, Drums, Percussion – John Brown, Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals – Maggie Fowle and Vocals, Guitar, Synthesizer – Barry Creighton.

Givin’ it all Up by J Geils Band. Their first single in my era, 1975, though they’d been releasing material since 1970. Geils himself died at home in Massachusetts the week before Easter at 71.

Love Stinks by J Geils Band. The first of their singles that I know, 1980 title track to their 9th studio album.

Centerfold by J Geils Band. Their first major hit; 1 all over the world.

Freezeframe by J Geils Band. Their second major hit and the title track to that most-successful of albums from 1981.

Fright Night by J Geils Band. Their last single, released in 1985. On the soundtrack to the film of the same name.

+Over and Over by Sylvester. 1977 disco hit.

Girls and Boys by Prince. Request.

+You don’t need by Jane Siberry. Canadian artist release from her 1984 album, her second, No Borders Here. She’s performed with KD Lang, fellow Canadian lesbian, but I don’t believe they’ve ever been linked romantically.

+Mr Used-To-Be by Richard Barone and Fred Schneider. Fred is the gay member. This is from Barone’s 1990 album, Primal Dream.

Aussie women:

*Magic Rhythm by Christie Allen. Title track from her 1979 debut album from Mushroom Records. She was born in the UK but hit it big recording here in Australia so we count her. For example, she was voted the Most Popular Female Performer at the TV Week / Countdown Music Awards for 1979 and 1980. She died in 2008 of pancreatic cancer.

*Chains by Tina Arena.  from her 1994 album Don’t Ask. It was composed by Arena, Pam Reswick and Steve Werfel and produced by David Tyson. “Chains” scaled the charts in the UK to #6, and charted well throughout Europe, earning her numerous awards in the process. The song was also a minor hit in the United States, peaking at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed in the top 100 for 12 weeks.

*Bedroom Eyes by Kate Ceberano.  1989 song famous for spending six weeks at No. 2, but became the seventh highest selling single of the year.

*Something’s Missing (In My Life) by Marcia Hines.  Second single release from her fourth studio album, Ooh Child, both released in 1979.

*It’s Alright by Gyan. 1989 follow up single to her smash debut, Wait. It’s also on her debut self-titled album.

*Sweet Love by Renee Geyer.  From her 1975 album Ready to Deal.

Carolyn’s Fingers by Cocteau Twins. Request.

Just can’t get enough by Depeche Mode. Request.

The Letter by D’arc. Their only single, released in 1982, except in Australia and Portugal where it came out in 1983.

You’re Always Guilty by Vellum Stairs. 1990 single, their second and final. I believe they were a UK band and the track was written and produced by Duncan Shields..who has also worked a lot in Hungary.

Another Face by Ack-Ack!. 1985 single from this American new wave band featuring Joe Strell on bass and  backing vocals, Brendan Gamble on drums, Henry Frayne on guitar, Lynn Canfield on keyboards and backing vocals and Steve Shields as lead vocalist.

Cool Heart by Tools Of Romance. From their 1985 self-titled EP, their only release from what I can gather. They are American. Fronted by David Vogeler and somebody named Elizabeth, who also played their synthesizer… Can’t get a last name on her.

Come and Get Your Love by Roger Daltrey. 1975 single.
