*Oh Boy by Diana Trask. 1975 single from this now-forgotten artist. Trask had achieved much success on the country scene in the US throughout the 1960s and 1970s, but it was this song which became her biggest hit and signature tune.
*Goodbye little Boy by The Triffids. Name of the band is from a tall, mobile, carnivorous, prolific and highly venomous fictional plant species—a main character in John Wyndham’s 1951 novel The Day of the Triffids. The band is from Perth and formed in 1978. This is the first single from their 5th album, The Black Swan, released in 1989.
*Venus in Leather by The Trilobites. Sydney band formed in 1984. This is their debut single from 1985.
*Bliss by Th’ Dudes. Kiwis from Aukland, release from their second album, Where are the Boys?, from 1980.
*The Hammer by Trilogy. Metal band from Perth. From their 1985 album, Life on Earth. Instrumental.
*I can’t help Myself by Teen Queens. 1992 release from these Sydney models and singers.

The Sun by Silent Creatures. 1986 single, one of only two they released…they were Belgian and have been compared to The Cure.
Tears are Not Enough by ABC. English new wave from the early ‘80s. Their debut single from ’81. Charted in the UK but nowhere else.
I can’t go for that by Hall & Oates. Also 1981, from their 10th album, Private Eyes.
Steppin’ Out by Joe Jackson. From his 1982 album, Night and Day, his 5th.
