Turn the Beat Around

22 Jan 2016

“she’s got it”

Music

On tonight’s Turn The Beat Around we chat to, Keren Wooward, one half of British pop sensations Bananarama.  Along with Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and short time replacement Jacqui O’Sullivan, Bananarama sold in excess of 40 million records, recorded ten albums and performed on two out of three versions of charity single “Do they know it’s Christmas?”

The Bananas are heading to our shores next month and in anticipation of their forthcoming Australian tour, Keren joins me on the phone from the UK and talks all things from Robert DeNiro, to Bowie, Steps and their rise to fame during the 1980s.

Keren Woodward, left, chats to Turn The Beat Around tonight, Friday, February 22.
