David Cole Remembered on Turn The Beat Around
David Cole (pictured 4th on the right) was famously known as one half of 90s dance music duo C & C Music Factory, who along with Robert Clivilles, soundtracked the 90s dance music sound coming out of America.
Together they either remixed, produced and created acts such as Taylor Dayne, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Seduction and most famously Mariah Carey.
On 24th January 1995, David Cole died from AIDS related Spinal Meningitis. On the eve of what would have been David’s 55th birthday, we play tribute on Turn The Beat Around with a 2 hour special of his musical work. Friday, 2nd June at 9pm on JOY 94.9
