The unmistakable Stayin’ Alive was a Number 1 Single for the Bee Gees in Australia and all across the world in 1978. By the end of the year, the song had racked up sales in excess of 10 million copies worldwide. French DJ The Reflex has given the disco classic a facelift with his Revision Remix which appeared in this broadcast of Turn The Beat Around.

Street Player was also recorded by funk band Rufus back in the 70s, but it was Chicago who scored a massive hit with the disco stomper.
The song received an even bigger second wind in 1996 when it was sampled by Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzalez in his club hit The Bomb (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind).
