Turn The Beat Around has returned for a brand new Summer season on JOY and our first show back kickstarts things off with a disco bang. In Stomp, The Podcast, there are 20 disco, funk and soul tracks that will take you back to the glitterati of the 70s and 80s including the very first version of Tell It To My Heart, made famous by Taylor Dayne but originally recorded by Canadian singer, Louisa Florio. We’ve got the original sample behind Mariah Carey’s A No No, Rain Dance by jazz funk trio, The Jeff Lorber Fusion, plus disco classics from Sylvester, Paradise Express and a high energy 80s favourite from Freddie Mercury. And that’s only Part 1.
