Urban Dreaming is Joy 94.9’s newest Aboriginal show to join our bumper program grid. Hosted by the charming Sirummy and the lovely & leggy Miss Ellaneous, Urban Dreaming is a show dedicated to promoting Aboriginal voice and spirit – regardless of wherever you’re currently camping (pun intended djaambi).
This podcast is Urban Dreaming’s inaugural broadcast and features legendary Yorta Yorta writer and actor Tony Briggs – you may know him as super-talented lad who wrote the film The Sapphires – that’s right, that feature film featuring camp icon Jessica Mauboy! Joining Tony is fellow writer and actor Katie Becket who recently wrote and presented the poignant, humorous play Which Way Home through ILBIJERRI Theatre.
Urban Dreaming’s deadly co-hosts also chat to Kimberley correspondent Sarina who broadcasts with the Aboriginal station Radio Goolarri.
