‘Uncle Jack’ (as we affectionately call him) is one of Australia’s greatest stage and film actors, and has had a tough yet triumphant history. A member of the Stolen Generations, Uncle Jack has battled the brunt of the criminal justice system, heroin addiction and more recently inexcusable racism from some of Melbourne’s taxi drivers.
He was announced the Senior Victorian Australian of Year and recently tread the boards of Carlton’s La Mama presenting ILBIJERRI Theatre‘s Corranderrk: We Will Show the Country.
