A subject that seems to be Taboo and constantly swept under the carpet and not looked at as a serious crisis in our own Country.
We have all either experienced first hand or seen a Domestic and Family violence situation occur which you makes you feel afraid, powerless or unsafe. It can be either physical, emotional or psychological and is non discriminatory in regards to community, ages, cultures and sexes.
If you are experiencing abuse or violence it is not your fault. It is the abuser who is responsible. Domestic violence is a crime and the abuser is breaking the law.
Thanks for coming into the studio and giving us some insight to a particular subject that needs to spoken about on a broader level.
