Paul Anthony chats with Senior Sergeant Leigh Wisbey along with Manager of the Gay and Lesbian Advisory Unit Sergeant Scott Davis and Gay and Lesbian Liaison Officer Senior Constable Gabby Tyacke on JOY 94.9. – Leigh received a head injury during an arrest many years ago and as a result suffered significant hearing loss in one ear. In 2008 he was driving his car and suddenly realised he could not longer hear the music from the stereo. This was the start of a long journey for Leigh as he re-established his life with the knowledge he was unlikely to hear again without the assistance of hearing aids. This interview looks at that journey and how it has also impacted on his employment within Victoria Police.
