Gay and Lesbian Liaison Unit manager A/Sgt Electra Wellens joins Gay and Lesbian Liaison Office Snr/Const Gabby Tyacke and this week they introduce two of the 19 new GLLOs, Ali and Stuart.
Sgt Ali Howard has been in Victoria Police for 17 years has worked in the specialist area of sexual assault and currently works as a recruit instructor. Snr Const. Steve Bakalovski has worked at Prahran and now St Kilda police station in the heart of a predominant GLBT community population. Both are part of the new group of 19 brand new and recently minted GLLOs who joined the existing GLLO colleagues after completing their training the previous week.
