Drug Harm Reduction

Alcohol & Drug Harm Reduction, Government & Organizations, Health, Science & Medicine, Sex & Sexuality, Society & Culture

This week Tex and Carlos review different ways to best look after yourself when using illegal or recreational drugs. The boys are joined by Dr Matt Dunn, a senior lecturer in Public Health at Deakin University to discuss illicit drug use in the community.

Bill O’Loughlin, the president of Harm Reduction Victoria also shares information on available services and research. TOUCHBASE is also a great website to obtain information, advice or support.

JOY and VAC do not condone the use of illegal drugs or substances however if people are using these substances they should have the knowledge to be able to use responsibly and with a degree of safety.
