2016 Northside Bizarre and STRIDE

Together for the first time on ep 560, Tex and Daniel cover topics such as Northside Bizarre, STRIDE, The Dark Side of The Rainbow and HIVsters Victoria.

Richard discusses PETE a new website for guys living with HIV as part of the STRIDE project funded by Beyondblue. The project deals with stigma, both in the community of same sex attracted men who have been or are heterosexually married, and with men who are living with HIV.

Matthew and Russ from The Dark Side Of The Rainbow tell us about this all day event focusing on Domestic Violence amongst members of the LGBTQ community. This training/cabaret hybrid, is being presented to assist professional workers to more effectively respond to this issue.

If you or anyone you know is experiencing difficulty please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14, qlife on 1800 184 527 or beyondblue on 1300 22 4636.
