Public Cervix Announcement

We discuss the Public Cervix Announcement campaign promoting more frequent cervical screening for Trans Masc people.

Zac Cannell was involved with the production of the campaign from SAMESH.

Research shows that a fifth of LGBTIQ Victorians with a cervix have never had a cervical screening.

Infrequent cervical screening can result in a greater risk of developing cervical cancer.

All LGBTIQ people with a cervix aged 25 to 74 need cervical screening every five years.

Public Cervix Announcement is rolling out now across Adelaide and South Australia.

Zac also talks about their work as a Sexual Health Counsellor and running the TransHealth SA website.
