Intersex Awareness Day 2022

Jacinta and Cal are joined by Cody Smith from Intersex Human Rights Australia (IHRA) in the lead up to Intersex Awareness Day on 26 October. Cody talks about what it means to be intersex, what the 2017 Darlington Statement is and how it can be supported, intersex people and LGBTIQ+ community health, and proposed changes to Australian legislation to protect the rights of intersex children from non-consensual medical interventions.
