HIV and drug use research – Dr Thomas Norman

Rachel and Jacinta speak to Dr Thomas Norman from the Australian Research Centre for Sex, Health and Society about his research recent presentation about HIV and injecting drug use at the Australian Scientific Alcohol and Drug Conference in October 2022.

Thomas Norman is a Postdoctoral Researcher at La Trobe University’s ARCSHS, specialising in public health. With research interests in sexual health, substance use and health promotion, he is currently working alongside community partners on the HIV Futures project — a longstanding study funded by the Department of Health investigating health and wellbeing among people living with HIV across Australia.
