LGBTIQ+ Holiday Health

With the holiday season underway, Cal is joined by Jake Peterson from Thorne Harbour Health’s Counselling Service and Venetia Brissenden from The Cottage – Thorne Harbour’s Alcohol and Other Drug Service based in South Australia. Jake and Venetia chat through some of the challenges faced by our LGBTIQ+ communities during the holiday season and strategies that people can use look after themselves.

While many services for our LGBTIQ+ communities may be limited over the holidays, Q Life, Rainbow Door, and Lifeline will be operating. You can find additional services at: joy.org.au/support/
