Thoughts of suicide and poor mental health outcomes are things that affect the LGBTIQ community more than the general population. Why is this? What do we need to change in order to shift this reality?

Our guest Amelia, an LGBTI+ Suicide Prevention Training Officer at Thorne Harbour Health, comes on the show to discuss these issues. She brings light to the things that rarely gets a media platform to do so. She also shares with us some of the work she is doing in affirmative practice training for service providers.
