Queering Endometriosis and Adenomyosis

Jacinta and Michael chat with Mon Ince (they/them), a local queer and genderqueer young person living with multiple disabilities including endometriosis and adenomyosis. They passionately use their lived experience to lead them as a LGBTIQA+, youth and disability advocate, researcher, peer worker and artist.

Mon discusses the importance of gender affirming care when navigating conditions that are typically seen as impacting only women. We break down myths about endometriosis and adenomyosis, and share some tips in seeking a diagnosis or managing these conditions for our community.

March is  Enodmetriosis Awareness Month.
