Our guest today is a woman on a mission…she has tackled government officials, fought endless red tape, written books, counseled hundreds of parents, transformed lives and she has even gone head to head with a Prime Minister.

Her mission is a simple one…she just wants her gay son to be treated equally…to have the same rights in the eyes of the law, that her straight son does…..and god help anyone who gets in the way!

Recently the ABC’s Australian Story profiled her work as the national spokesperson for PFLAG – Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays…and its our great pleasure to welcome, Word For Word, Shelley Argent…
