JOY 94.9 Board Member Sammy Cameron Comes Out Trans

For 20 years JOY 94.9 has been the voice of Gay & Lesbian Melbourne. Today one of its board members comes out as Trans.  Sammy Cameron was known at the station as the Dyke’s On Bikes member with the flaming red hair.

Revealing she was born male has shocked many, highlighting the importance of JOY 94.9 the greater diversity that the station represents in 2013 and beyond.
