Fiona Patten MLC (Leader of the Australian Sex Party) with Dean Beck

Having previously battled two Federal Elections and a Victorian State Election, Fiona Patten, leader of the Australian Sex Party,  is determined to win a seat in the Victorian State Parliament’s Upper House on the 29th of November.

Fiona is no new-comer to politics having been a lobbyist for the adult retail industry for over 20 years.  At the forefront of the HIV response in the 1990’s, Fiona engaged the sex workers of Australia as they universally adopted condom use to protect their bodies and their livelihood.

Joining us to share the Sex Party’s policies and platforms ahead of Victoria going to the polls, its clear Fiona has not lost the determination to ensure practical libertarian policies are part of our nation’s way forward.

POSTSCRIPT:  Following the Victorian Election on November 29, 2014, Fiona Patten was elected to Victoria’s Legislative Council in the Northern Metropolitan Region.
