This Is Me – Nic Holas.

Nic Holas is a writer, columnist, activist, commentator and agitator.  He is also an activator and co-founder of The Institute of Many (TIM), a peer-run group for HIV positive people – a social umbrella and an advocacy platform.

Nic has been published in Hello Mr magazine (including as the cover model for Issue 01), Junkee, Star Observer, Cosmopolitan and is currently contributing editor for GNN CheckUp.  His articles often focus on the contemporary gay experience, sex-positivity and living with HIV.

Nic appeared on the AIDS 2014 edition of QandA and regularly appears on television, radio and online discussing HIV and LGBTI issues.

Following his HIV+ diagnosis Nic enrolled in ACON’s Genius Workshop (called Phoenix in Victoria).  In addition to his work with TIM, Nic is a peer educator for ACON, a speaker for Positive Life NSW, a PLDI Facilitator and an ENUF Ambassador.

Recently The Institute of Many (TIM) celebrated their 1000^th member with the launch of Wizards of Poz – the first public-facing community campaign by an HIV advocacy platform.
