Remembering the Man paints a raw, gritty and intimate picture of these two young men through intimate interviews with friends and colleagues and through unprecedented access to archival footage and family photos.

A feature length documentary, Remembering the Man follows the course of the Tim and John’s tumultuous relationship: their awkward schoolboy romance; their parents’ efforts to keep them apart; temptation, infidelity and separation; how they came back together stronger than before; their diagnosis with HIV and their battle to stay alive; John’s death; and Tim’s race against time to finish writing their story before he died.
