John Blades has been presenting and producing programs about experimental music on community radio 2MBS-FM for 28 years. He has been living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for the same period of time. Last year John received a Walkley Award for his ABC Radio National Documentary titled “The too hard basket”. John tells his own story of his loss of independence, depression and decades of celibacy – and then how his life changed when he discovered sex workers who specialise in disabled clients.
