Alexi Freeman – Fashion & Costume Designer

Arts, Health, News & Politics, Society & Culture

Born in Hobart on Christmas Eve 1978, today’s guest has battled the bullying brought upon him as a creative soul educated in a private all-boys school, to become a successful Fashion Designer. Most recently he was commissioned to design the costumes for Gideon Obarzanek’s world premiere of There’s Definitely a Prince Involved – one Act of The Australian Ballet’s triple-bill Infinity – thus launching their 2012 season and 50th Anniversary. From his Studio in Collingwood to Fashion Festival catwalks and even Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum, today’s guest has managed to carve out a successful career in one of the most competitive industries on the planet. Joining us Word for Word is Alexi Freeman. http://alexifreeman.com/
