Under the cover of international outcry over Uganda’s harsh anti-gay laws, Nigeria’s parliament passed equally horrific laws against gay people. What was the response from the World Congress of Families?

To understand gay life and music in Nigeria, we spoke with Maheeda – Nigerian born pop singer and self-proclaimed Goddess of X and Monica Tabengua – from Human Rights Watch in Africa.
