Asia/Pacific, News & Politics

china flagIf the old rule that one in 10 people are LGBTI – that would make the gay population of the country, we are visiting tonight 6 times larger than the entire population of Australia.  We are of course talking about China – where the local LGBTI community is becoming more visible and more vocal.

  • What is the internet storm that galvanised the LGBTI community and their allies in China?

  • Is China’s significant LGBTI community finding its voice?

To light a rainbow coloured fire in the heart of China, we were joined by Yanzi Pang – Founder of LGBT Rights Advocacy of China.
