Australia: A World of Pride Coming Our Way

While we are Australia’s international LGBTI current affairs show, this time it is Australia that is making world headlines. The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is already one of the biggest Pride celebrations in the world…but it is about to get even bigger and bolder! Sydney has been announced as host city for the mammoth 2023 World Pride event.

Adrian Phoon is on the Board of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and part of the bid team for World Pride Sydney 2023. He joined us to take you behind-the-scenes of the bid process. We will also find out what exciting events they have planned and how they intend to make this a truly special event for LGBTI people across the entire Asia-Pacific region.
