The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) released a fascinating report titled The Personal and the Political: A­ttitudes to LGBTI People Around the World.

The report is the largest investigation of attitudes towards LGBTI people around the world ever conducted with 96,331 responses from people in 65 countries, including countries with very little focus on LGBTI rights such as Algeria, Jamaica and the United Arab Emirates.

To unlock the world perceptions of LGBTI people, we speak with Aengus Carroll, co-author of The Personal and the Political: A­ttitudes to LGBTI People Around the World, from the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA).
