SCOTLAND: A GAY TEACHER WITH BIG VISIONS

Last week, Scotland’s current First Minister becoming the first Scottish national leader to speak and march at a Pride event. In her speech, Nicola Sturgeon publicly pledged to continue to work for Scotland to become the best place in the world for LGBT rights. We’re off to Scotland.

• What does it feel like to have your national leader speaking passionately and positively about your LGBT community?
• What is it like ‘coming out’ as gay in a teaching environment?
• What is it about Scottish society that has made it one of the best places in the world for LGBT people?
