Have some LGBTIQ+ pride marches lost their way?

Peter Tatchell was one of the organisers of the first London Gay Pride March in 1972. New York and London. In this interview with World Wide Wave, first transmitted in a shorter edited version on 25 June 2019, he says that the original instigators of early LGBTIQ+ pride marches around the world would be appalled by the current commercialised model of Pride now seen in many western countries.

On of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York City he talks to us about why some are concerned and why he is supporting the community-led Reclaim Pride Coalition so that there is now a separate Reclaim Pride march in cities such as New York and London.
