This week Mossy and I decided it was time to celebrate our second year on air! Yes, two years of ‘Yesterday Once More’ have been wonderful and satisfying for us and we hope for you too. Thank you for listening and giving us such positive feedback. We are so grateful that the music we like is the music you like and that you find our chat informative and entertaining!

So this week it’s all about partying and celebration! Just the tracks to get you dancing and singing are Cyndi Laupers’ ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’ and ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA. There are songs about all aspects of partying – ‘It’s My Party’ (Lesley Gore), ‘Party Doll (Buddy Knox), ‘I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party’ (Beatles) and the iconic rock ‘n roll party song ‘Let’s Have A Party’ (Wanda Jackson). Parties of the past are celebrated in the great Sam Cooke’s song ‘Twistin’ The Night Away’ and one of the most popular party songs of the fifties – ‘At The Hop’ by Danny And The Juniors.
