This week’s theme is ‘Wanting And Needing‘. These two words don’t have the same meanings, but are often interchangeable in pop music. This week’s program features some melodic ballads from Rod Stewart (I Don’t Want To Talk About It), Anne Murray (You Needed Me), Dionne Warwick (What The World Needs Now) and Leo Sayer (When I Need You). Aussie highlight of the week is forgotten singer, Dig Richards with an inconsequential ditty called ‘I Wanna Love You’.
