There is nothing better than a good friend, except, perhaps, a good song about friends and friendship. Musicians have been writing about friendship, and its impact, forever and it is a topic that spans all musical categories including pop and country. This week’s theme FRIENDSHIP includes songs from an international Australian star- namely Olivia Newton John, a much loved home grown band the Skyhooks, the wonderful duo of Simon and Garfunkel and one of the greatest bands of all time The Beatles.
