This week’s theme is cars and the driving experience. It lends itself to novelty songs: ‘Beep Beep’ by The Playmates; ‘Seven Little Girls’ from Paul Evans And The Curls and the Aussie highlight of the week about teenage cruising: OL 55‘s ‘On The Prowl’. It features other strong Aussie performances from AC/DC (Highway To Hell), Ted Mulry Gang (Jump In My Car) and Billy Thorpe‘s version of the Beatles’ song ‘Drive My Car’. Legends Aretha Franklin (Freeway Of Love) and Prince (Little Red Corvette) are also featured.
