This week’s theme comprises songs that charted over the years during the month of January, with the Australian Kent Music and Go Set charts being the main references for our selection. The Bee Gees hit the charts  with ‘Spicks and Specks’ in 1966,  Nana Mouskouri with ‘4 and 20 Hours’  in 1977, Lulu with ‘To Sir With Love ‘ in 1967 and the Australian group, Somebody’s Image with ‘Hush’  in 1969.  The Aussie of the week is Helen Reddy who made it to number 1 in 1974 with ‘Leave Me Alone’.
