When life appears a little gloomy and faded we can always seek a Rainbow in the form of an uplifting and motivating song. This week we look at the RAINBOW theme from the LGBTI perspective and songs re rainbows and colours. The Rainbow Flag comprises six colours that are often associated with “diversity” within the LGBTIQ community: Red – Life / Orange – Healing / Yellow – Sunlight / Green – Nature / Blue – Harmony  Purple – Spirit. The Wizard of Oz‘s ‘Over the Rainbow’ is a reminder that whatever the situation we’ll always find our happiness somewhere over the rainbow where bluebirds fly.
