In this program we celebrate the music of the early rock n roll years. Many of the legends of rock n roll are featured: Jerry Lee Lewis (Great Balls Of Fire), Little Richard (Tutti Frutti), Elvis Presley (Heartbreak Hotel) and of course, Bill Haley (Rock Around The Clock). Throw in John Lennon‘s driving vocals on The Beatles’ tribute to this era (Rock N Roll Music). It was a very macho era so for balance we’ve included popular female singers Connie Francis (Stupid Cupid) and The Shirelles (Boys). The Greatest Rock N Roll Song Of All Time is also featured – Chuck Berry‘s ‘Johnny B Goode’.
