Continuing the Summer theme this week we present songs celebrating different Summer activities. From cycling (Les Bicyclettes Des Lelsize) to surfing (Hangin’ Five) and sailing (Sailing). Walking is prominent with Nancy Sinatra‘s signature song (These Boots Are Made For Walkin’), The Diamonds (Walking Along) and in interesting rendition of ‘Walkin’ In The Sand’ by Aussie trio, MPD Limited. Canned Heat‘s ‘Going Up The Country’ and The Young Rascal’s ‘Groovin’ provide fresh sounds of Summer. Connie Francis sums up the exuberance of school holidays with ‘Vacation’.
