Dawn to Dusk

This week’s show commences with I’m Stranded as a salute to the Saints lead singer Chris Bailey who died on April 9th and who has been referred to as the voice that tore across the world and changed the face of Brisbane.

The song selection this week is themed as DAWN to DUSK. The line-up includes Grammy winner Starland Vocal Band’s Platinum album September Morn (with hit song Afternoon Delight), a gold record by Vanity Fare Early in the Morning, and the number 14 song on Rolling Stone’s Greatest 500 Waterloo Sunset by The Kinks.

Legends Nat King Cole, The Platters, Patti Smith, Elton John, the Eagles, The Four Seasons and Elvis Presley make an appearance as does a short lived Brisbane band, The Purple Hearts.
