Building Materials

This week’s theme follows the inclusion of BUILDING MATERIALS into song titles.

The field of songs presents items that are used in the construction of various forms of buildings.

Pink Floyd are into bricks, Martin Plaza and Gene McDaniels play with clay and the Beatles and Elvis are attracted to wood.

Paul Anka’s song includes the materials of glass and steel, Alice Cooper focuses on the binding nature of nails and Peter Gabriel is wielding his Sledgehammer.

Brass, tin and stone are referenced by the Pretenders, Small Faces and Bob Dylan.
