Who doesn’t like birds? Their grace and music inspire us. As they do songwriters. We feature three Aussies in this program. Starting with troubador John Williamson’s homage to our own emu Old Man Emu, to Russell Morris’s sublime Wings Of An Eagle and the perennially popular Eagle Rock from Daddy Cool. Bobby Day’s rock classic Rockin’ Robin is here and Christine McVie’s lilting Songbird from Fleetwood Mac. Paul McCartney is featured twice. First with Wing’s  Bluebird and later on the Beatle’s classic Blackbird.
