Yesterday Once More

26 Oct 2025

Dos and Don’ts

50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, Music, Nostalgia, Songs

Over the years we have all been told by parents and/or friends to “do this” or “don’t do that”. With that in mind we decided to present a catalogue of songs featuring DOS and DON’TS. Manfred Mann’s 1964 version of Do Wah Diddy Diddy introduces the show followed by other Do songs including the Captain and Tennille’s timeless romantic ballad Do That To Me One More Time, Bobby Freeman’s self-penned Do You Wanna Dance and the Beatles Do You Want to Know a Secret. The LGBTQIA+ community is represented by Dusty Springfield and Lesley Gore with their Don’t songs. Don’t Change was INXS’s entry into the international charts and the legendary Buddy Holly ends the show with It Doesn’t Matter Any More.
