Indulgences

This week Rob and Mossy have indulged themselves by playing their own choice of songs. Rob dips into his adolescence to find three of his favourites: ‘My Prayer’ by The Platters, ‘Little Darlin’ by The Diamonds and ‘To Know Him Is To Love Him’ from Phil Spector’s first group, The Teddy Bears. Add two great Aussie tracks: ‘This Guy’s in Love With You’ by The Reels and Peter Allen‘s iconic ‘Tenterfield Saddler’ and a smooth rendition of ‘I Only Have Eyes For You’ from Art Garfunkel. Mossy offers up tempo tracks from The Ritchie Family (Best Disco In Town), ‘Mississippi’ from Dutch group, Pussycat and the driving ‘Judy In Disguise’ (John Fred And His Playboys). Mossy dips into her adolescence with ‘Sugar Shack’ (Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs) and shows her liking for Wings (Band On The Run). Her Aussie contribution is The Sports performing ‘Who Listens to the Radio?’
