Yesterday Once More

26 Jun 2014

Elevator

Music

Hi Listeners

I’m back – after not having the Internet for six weeks and going overseas for two weeks I have not been able to blog. Anyway we’re now back. Mossy also had an extended overseas trip for a month. This week we are presenting songs that build you up and bring you down – just like an elevator! Some of the ‘up’ songs include the Dave Clark Five with ‘Glad All Over’, Michael Jackson’s cute song about a rat – ‘Ben’, The Fifth Dimension’s soaring song ‘Up Up And Away’ and the most ‘up’ song of all – the Turtles ‘Happy Together’. On the other side, we have the Righteous Brothers’ soulful ‘You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’, ‘She Cried’ by Jay And The Americans and probably two of the most tear-jerking songs ever (or way over the top whichever you like) – Timi Uro’s ‘Hurt” and the obsessive angst of Vicki Carr with ‘It Must Be Him’.

Mossy is in Queensland this week so we will be having a Melbourne/Queensland hook up.

Hope you enjoy
