Lucky Dip

This week Rob and Mossy have dipped into their vast collections and produced some gems. Rob proves that his ‘blind’ spot in the 70s and 80s wasn’t quite as dim as it seemed. He discovered Rod Stewart‘s wonderful album ‘Atlantic Crossing’ and features the poignant ‘I Don’t Want To Talk About It’ from that album. He also became enthused by Style Council‘s funky ‘The Big Boss Groove’ and discovered a lovely song from David Essex (A Winter’s Tale’). Starting the program is the ‘delicious’ ‘Good Morning How Are You?’ from Aussie trio The Moir Sisters. Mossy waxes enthusiastically about Aussie band Sherbet ‘Can You Feel It?’ and Joan Armatrading‘s ‘Drop The Pilot’. She includes two famous Aussie ex patsKylie with her early hit ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ and Peter Allen‘s ‘I Go To Rio’. The program ends with two legends, Buddy Holly (True Love Ways) and Cliff Richard (Congratulations).
