National Volunteer Week

In today’s program we pay tribute to the wonderful volunteers who help to keep Joy 94.9 on the air. This week we play requests from some of those wonderful volunteers. They’ve selected some sing a long songs such as ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’ (Frankie Valli), ‘It Might As Well Rain Until September’ (Carole King) and ‘Right Back Where We Started From’ (Maxine Nightingale). Other highlights include Fleetwood Mac‘s mesmeric ‘Tusk’, Procol Harum‘s enigmatic ‘A Whiter Shade Of Pale’ and that great exponent of the wall of sound – The Ronette’s ‘Be My Baby’.
